P.& R.Batteries for 20 HP. & 40/50 HP.Chassis.

Having had my attention drawn by Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} to quite a number of complaints of P.& R.{Sir Henry Royce} batteries for 20 HP. chassis and having had replies to such complaints from Peto & Radford which I did not consider were satisfactory, I wrote them on 26th inst. as per copy attached ref.- Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}15/NJ26326.

We are now in receipt of a reply from P.& R.{Sir Henry Royce}, Repair Dept., 107a, Pimlico Road, S.W.1, dated 29th inst., copy attached hereto.

I am still of opinion that we are entitled to more detailed reports and if you are of the same opinion, I will carry the matter further.
