Upon receipt of your note Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}3/W23.3.23, a copy was sent to the Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd. with a request that they would say whether same was a correct record of the arrangement made with Mr.McKinnon on the 20th inst. In reply the Chloride Co. have written us as follows:- "We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter "of the 26th inst. The arrangement recorded "therein entirely accords with our understanding "of the scheme, with the addition that in each "instance where a faulty battery is forwarded to "us you will quote the chassis number of the car "and the date when it was despatched from your "Works. "It is further understood that two of the 6 "replacement batteries are already held by you and "we have to forward four more. These we will "despatch with the least possible delay."
