Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 3rd. inst. with copy of report WE.13 relating to magnetos 98033/4 which have been subjected to type test on one of your F type engines, and are pleased to note the good condition of the contact breakers and distributors on completion of the test. We regret that the bench test of magneto 98034 after completion of the type test shows irregular sparking in the fully retarded position. It is not possible to make any suggestion as to the cause of this without making a full examination of the magneto, but if you can conveniently send it to us we shall be pleased to examine and report on it without delay and return it to you as quickly as possible. Yours faithfully, p.p. NORTH & SONS LIMITED, E H Worby MANAGING DIRECTOR. | ||
