RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 401-8-12 44) MP 306975 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Cont'd Order No. Customer's No. 19 The spring trouble is liable to be experienced due to Derby connection. The lever is insulated from the pivot by a bush of what appears to be pure bakelite or some material with a paper or linen base. The rubbing blocks are of thin section continental bakelite and are riveted to the lever. The levers are packed up from the base of the pivot by a bakelite washer .055" thick to bring the points into line. The earthed points are riveted to a pressing, and adjustment of the contact gap is effected by loosening the securing bolt and turning an eccentric pin working in a slot in the pressing. The lever pivots are of brass and are so grooved as to provide a small oil well for lubricating the levers. To give the two levers in relation to one another there is an arrangement whereby one of the breakers can be moved about the cam or centre. The distributor casing. Signed Cont'd This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
