Gear Box.

With reference to the noise of the side shaft and other gear box gears, which is specially noticeable in covered cars when the engine is running light, car standing, and which has been further brought to my notice on the car I now have here, - 1731, - and also on the Lanchester, we are now endeavouring to do some-thing to overcome this trouble and hope to report later that a thoroughly practical improvement has been suggested.
