We have now had an opportunity of testing the lower rated springs specially made with the object of reducing the pitching at high speeds on Cars with light bodies. We are pleased to report that the improvement is sufficiently marked for us to recommend it being worth while proceeding with the necessary tests to enable them to be standardised. On our road test we have not found any ill effect on the steering at high speed or axle control when cornering. We should like to know whether it is agreed to proceed with the tests, as we have some customers whose Cars have received the latest springing improvements, but who still complain of high speed pitching. /hm{Capt.
