B-65-AE - MR. R.{Sir Henry Royce} F.{Mr Friese} SUMMERS.

Mr. Summers' car duly arrived here at noon to-day and Mr. Summers turned up at the same time.

He drew our attention to a number of defects in the body, in addition to the front wings.

We had to ask your Representative to kindly take the car along to Park Ward's Works and we went there and explained in detail Mr. Summers' criticisms.

As regards the front wings, we arranged for Park Wards to mount on the car the steel front wings they made up for your Experimental car. They will make up another pair for you.

They will do all they can to have the car ready to leave for W. in time to reach there Tuesday night, but we cannot definitely promise it will be there then just yet.

The work Mr. Summers wants done is rather more than we expected and we feel sure you will agree that Park Wards must on this occasion make a thoroughly good job of it.

We will let you know as soon as possible when to expect the car. In the meantime please rest assured we are doing all we can to get it away in time to be with you on Tuesday night.
