It is most unfortunate that you should have experienced any failure at all in connection with the portable jack, as it is now a line which we are supplying in large quantities to other manufacturers, and is giving us absolutely no trouble.

We note from the last paragraph of your letter that you have designed a special type of fitting, and immediately we receive your drawing we will have one of these fittings made up and sent to you for further test.

Incidentally, can you give us some approximate idea when you might be requiring quantity supplies of jacks, if and when these are approved ?

With regard to the permanently fitted hydraulic jacking system for the Bentley car, if we could supply a very light system is there not a possibility that this could be considered ? It seems strange that manufacturers of comparatively cheap cars should standardize this equipment and the Bentley, which must be termed a luxury product, does not fit the most comprehensive system.

We mention this matter as we have been redesigning the Jackall and the D.W.S. system with a view to considerably reducing weight, and making the systems even more efficient and reliable.

We trust we may look forward to hearing further from you on this matter in due course and remain,

Yours faithfully,

For DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LIMITED.
