To Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}... from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ------------------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}10/N.24.8.39. Wraith - Marles Steering - Chassis 198.MR. Mileage 2,532. ------------------------- I am forwarding to you a cracked roller taken out of the steering of the above. The car has had a frontal crash, but there has been many such cases fitted with R.R. steering when no damage has been reported of the steering worm and nut. The Marles steering looks as if it is going to be an expensive job in service. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
