Dear Hickling,

Herewith a drawing of the back axle in which we are troubled by wear of the differential pinion thrust washers.

I hope you can see some way of replacing these by parallel roller thrust bearings. This applies not only to the 4 differential pinions but also to the half shaft integral pinions. On all 6 of these a shim adjustment is required for initial setting of the backlash. At the moment this is carried out by choosing from a large assortment of bronze washers.
