SECRET.
Jacking System of SpectreCodename for Phantom III.
Referring to your memo Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E.18.6.35, the first part of E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.14.6.35 is a record of the initial design development on SpectreCodename for Phantom III Jacks and may be disregarded for present purposes.
We think the D.W.S. screw jacks are good enough to carry on with until the hydraulic scheme is ready, and they will be exactly like what we are selling to the public now except that the front jack is carried on the frame crossmember and has a longer stroke to suit.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
