contd :- -2- amount of room and provide a reasonable luggage box with still carrying a spare wheel at the back - beyond the luggage and box the overall length of the car would not exceed the present cars with two wheels at the back. It is practically the scheme as shown at the bottom of N.sch. 2799 except that we crowd the luggage box forward and fit the wheel at the rear. With this scheme we might get away with recommending customers to carry only one wheel, and still retain it where we like it at the back. We have carried out a test taking the wheels off the back and carrying the equivalent weight in the position of the side wheel carriers. The difference in riding is noticeable but not very pronounced. The '33' car with wheels at the side will still be infinitely better than the Phantom, but we think it is worth the big struggle to keep the weight at the back. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
