Attention: Mr. Ratcliffe

Dear Sirs,

DC-42 CARBURETTER FOR "WRAITH" ENGINE

In reference to your telegram of this morning, and the subsequent conversation with the writer over the telephone, we note that you wish us to amend the specification for the "Wraith" carburetter to include a .036" by-pass jet, and this amendment has been effected.

We have despatched to you today 20 x .036" by-pass jets and 20 choke springs as called for in your telegram, and we very much regret that the wrong spring should have been fitted to the carburetters which were despatched to you in the early part of this week. If you will kindly return to us 20 x .030" by-pass jets, such can offset the .036" by-pass jets sent to you today.

We have had a report from our Mr. Fisher which reads :-

"Mr. Ratcliffe showed me several service reports dealing with carburetters of which a few apparently had incorrect levels, and asked me what we were doing about it. I said I would pass the information on."
