Gears. 1st. Heavy, even note, over-run very heavy. 2nd. Light note, even, over-run heavy. 3rd. Light note, even, over-run light note. Continuous Gears. Quiet, dry ball race noise not passable. Synchromesh. 2nd Gear. Smooth action, free from crashing, gear obtained standing with no undue load. 3rd Gear. lumpy, action improved with use, occasional crash, not good enough. 4th - top.
