Dear "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}",

I have just been informed by Tr{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance} that he has succeeded in arranging for a Phantom III Chassis to be allotted for demonstration purposes on the Continent which will be ready in January.

Prior to answering this memo, I should like a piece of your valuable advice.

What I am anxious not to have, for instance, is a chassis that is not "au point", as I am firmly convinced that this would do us more harm than good, not only in France, but also in the other export countries which this car is destined to visit.

Should you say, however, that, in your opinion, it will be O.K., I will at once answer Tr{Capt. F. W. Turner - Finance}, saying how pleased I am to receive this good news.

If, on the other hand, you think I would be well advised not to have such a car for the moment, I will lay stress on the fact that it will be better to wait until the chassis is as near 100% as possible, rather than risk spoiling our market with a car which is not yet what it is finally intended to be.

I should be much obliged if you would let me have a reply by return.

With best thanks in advance,

Yours sincerely,

H.S.

W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq.
