ELECTRICAL CONTROLS The magnetic controls are located within the base. Main push button switch at front of machine governs power supply to all motors. Wheel spindle, headstock and coolant pump motors started and stopped in unison through single magnetic switch. (Headstock spindle stopped separately by lever-operated clutch.) Two-speed table motor controlled by drum switch operated by knob at front. Motors protected by individual overload relays having automatic reset. Overload of any motor automatically stops entire machine. BASE Hollow. Rigidly braced internally. Supported at three points to preserve alignments. FLOOR SPACE At right angles to spindle, 60". Parallel to spindle, 209". STANDARD EQUIPMENT Wheel spindle motor, head-stock motor, table motor, coolant pump motor, electrical controls and wiring complete; pulleys and sheaves for obtaining speed changes of headstock and wheel spindle; No. 4M Internal Grinding Fixture; 8" 4-jawed independent chuck; face plate; face chuck; 2 grinding wheels—1 straight, 14" diameter, 1" thick, 5" hole, and 1 flaring cup, 14" diameter, 3/8" face, 1 1/2" thick, 5" hole; wheel puller; left-hand wheel sleeve and guard; wheel truing fixture; center rest; tooth rest and bracket; 2 universal back rests and 4 adjustable bronze shoes; set of telescopic water guards; set of work driving dogs; set of wrenches; and tool box.
