With reference to the requests which are being received by the Company regarding the possibility of increasing the fuel economy on Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars. We recommend the following procedure for advising individual customers. Firstly, it should be mentioned that the carburation and ignition timing have been set to give the best results consistent with performance and engine smoothness. In making the following re-adjustments therefore, allowance must be made for the effect on either of these factors :- | ||
