Valves & Fittings. continued.

2. Top Spring Washers - all washers shew signs of wear on spring contact face, the maximum being .011".
3. Bottom Spring Washers - also worn on spring seats. Maximum wear .005".
4. Inlet Valves - slightly pitted on seats, otherwise good.
5. Exhaust Valves - seats pitted.
6. Rockers - slight wear in bronze bushes.
7. Push Rods - slight wear on bottom end faces. The wear is most obvious on those faces which do not appear to have been perfectly flat in the first place, and the importance of ensuring that faces are absolutely flat and square with rod is very evident.
8. Tappets - flat worn on radial contact face. Slight wear on top (tappet rod) face.

Camshaft. LeC 3223

1. General condition very good.
2. Driving Gear(Cast Iron) very good, shewing practically no signs of wear on gear teeth.
3. End Bearing - bronze bushes very slightly worn.

Dynamo and Water Pump Drive. LOP. E.100179

Bronze bushes are very slightly worn. Gear teeth good.

Ignition Governor & Drive. RR. Scheme 216.

1. Driving Shaft E.100150 - good except for slight wear on thrust collar.
2. Bush - Governor Drive E.100151 .002" wear in bore, one scored on thrust face.
3. Fulcrum Pin E.57912 Grooves at location of the Outer Governor Arms .010" deep.
