To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
RESONANCE TYPE SILENCER.
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} has expressed a wish that we should fit a resonance type of silencer on his car for him to run during the holidays. Details of this were issued in BY/CS.9/EH.8.7.32.
You could probably take the opportunity to try out one of the methods of building up this silencer.
We should also like to get one of these silencers for 18-G4. The proportions of the silencer may be taken as being fixed as Sales have agreed to the one we fitted to GBT-24.
