Dear Sirs,

Re E.O.6 MAGNETOS.

X4279

We thank you for your letter of the 7th instant, regarding the Six Model E.O.6 Magnetos which were sent you for test.

In view of the fact that these magnetos have only the normal 35° of advance, we think it will be better to send you six of the new machines of this model with the angle of advance increased to 55°.

We shall be able to send you these within the next day or two, and it will be better to carry out your tests on machines which show the advantage given by this design over a wide range of advance.

The work on the new machine with large armature is being pushed forward, and we will send you samples as quickly as possible, but in the meantime you will be able to see the advantages given by the moveable pole shoe extensions, even with an armature of the same size as in the Model E.6.

Yours faithfully,

NORTH & SONS. LTD.
