advantages increase with the speed at which car is driven & the amount of use to which the brakes are put. - On two separate occasions recently in Austria (once during the Trials themselves) the brakes being applied in Emergencies, locked the wheels & seized "on" & would not free themselves for several valuable moments during which the car was practically unmanageable, moreover although the brakes were very carefully set before the Trials, the near side one began to rub after use the first day & never stopped during the whole Trials, becoming so bad on the last day that the hand adjustment had to be slacked right off & the brake not used more than absolutely necessary. wet mud appears to drop off the wheel, or on the other side being flung under the cover by the flange on same keeps up a perpetual grinding noise very irritating to passengers - I think that mostly are own drivers like the brake & it certainly is very nice for moderate speeds & hills etc as generally met with in England - The only Customer I have met who has expressed an opinion is Mr Radley, which opinion I believe you already have -
