Bowering Let me see a demonstration Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1166 C1/C12.11.35 You will remember at the last Conference we mentioned the trouble Mr.William Arnold had had with our standard jack and you arranged to send one of the new type to him. I now enclose copies of two letters received from him. The second one is in reply to my query as to exactly what he meant by it being impossible to remove the jack. I asked him if he meant it was impossible to get it in position, and also whether he used the jacking pad. I shall be glad if you will please try these points out and let me know if he is correct, and if not where he has gone wrong. C. | ||
