We suggested that they should get in touch with Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd., who already produce the pressed case, glass and retaining ring of exactly the same size as the ammeter, to avoid additional tool charges. This new design is to be submitted in 8 - 10 weeks.

From the information received, one gathers that their Works have been in a chaotic condition and our complaints have not been passed on to the right quarters, but we think that with these improvements we shall be immune from ammeter trouble.
