We have made a thorough investigation into the question of supplying a tool box arranged integrally with the dash board for the road tools, and we find we cannot do this without lengthening the whole chassis or having an impossible rear bonnet line. On the Daimler there is quite an appreciable amount of room wasted between the driver and the engine, and this assists them materially in finding space for a tool box. As we want our passenger space as far forward as possible, we should not be justified in doing the same. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
