We have arranged for the sample set of Park Ward front wings and running boards, made as a unit, to be sent to the Experimental Department at Derby for fitting to I-B.4. This is the car on which Derby are carrying out a series of experiments on front wing dither. As we understand it has already been arranged by Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}, we are fitting a similar set of wings to the Bentley being produced for the use of Ip. We hope that in a few days' time we shall be able to give you a report on the effect of these wings upon front end dither from the results of our tests on the Experimental Bentley I-B.4. We are glad to note that it is not proposed to make any change in the standard front wings and running boards of our standardised Bentley cars until we have some experience of the proposed modification.
