ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC. SPRINGFIELD, MASS. X7772 February 16, 1933 Rolls-Royce Limited Derby, England Attention of: Mr. Robotham Gentlemen: On PII cars we occasionally find that through carelessness in cleaning the chassis, chauffeurs get their servo liners saturated with kerosene resulting in a glaze which renders the servo ineffective. In such cases we have been unable to find a solvent which would satisfactorily remove this glaze and we have been forced to fit new liners. I am wondering if your experience in England has pointed to a more simple remedy, and would appreciate very much any advice you are able to offer. Yours very truly, Rolls-Royce of America, Inc.
