R.R. 238 B (380 H). S.D. 442. 9-4-17) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1966 To EFC from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} c. to Na.{Mr Nadin} R15/B2.6.17. RE X.3031 - MAGNALIUM METAL I am awaiting a further report with reference to the above. Taylor, Taylor & Hobson of Leicester, may be able to tell us where to get this metal. We must be sure we have the correct alloy before comparing it. Being alloyed with magnesium (which is lighter than aluminium), the resultant alloy may be lighter than pure aluminium. The increased price suggested in your memo of over £300 per ton is too much. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
