EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} c. to D/BE c. to EFC. X 607 Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}2/NJ10.3.22. Re Chassis 1-GE. Yours EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/CEP11/EC7.3.22. Your protest against the Chloride Co's refusal to repair the battery ex above chassis free of charge was communicated to the Chloride Co. and we are now in receipt of their reply, as follows:- "The 12 volt battery ex chassis 1-GE. was jointly "examined by Messrs. Clark, Furner and the undersigned "(E.C.McKinnon), and although it was certainly suggested "by the gentleman in charge of your Repair Section, "whose name we cannot recall, that the box might have "been broken by forcing it into the wooden crate, there "did not appear to be any support for the suggestion and, "if we are not mistaken, Messrs. Clark and Furner did not "accept it." I take it that you do not wish us to further press this matter. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} | ||
