Re - Exide Batteries.

Further to our EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/CEP3/EC9.2.22, and Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}'s memo' Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3/NJ3.2.22. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}, has raised the point as to whether he is to definately instruct the Chloride Co., to go ahead with the repairs to batteries ex. 16-LW and 25-PP at the charges quoted in his memo reference above.

In view of the fact that in each case the customer's have been supplied with new batteries to enable them to carry on with, we suggest that you write our Clients pointing out the charges the Chloride people propose making to put their batteries in working order and asking for their remarks.

If this is done before any work has been put in hand it will be far easier to meet any objection raised.
