N. sch. 3639. herewith shews slight modifications to the universal coupling recently sent for Peregrine(Experimental Bentley car never produced / Aero Engine). The spring rings are now retained in position and the endwise clearance increased to a minimum of 10/1000". The thickness of the shaft sleeve is increased to .060, and attention is called to the need for hardening on the teeth on both ends of the universal sleeve. HDY. {William Hardy} | ||
