PHANTOM 11 FRONT BRAKES.

In the very early days of the front wheel brakes we chamfered the ends of the linings to avoid axle jaggers.

This has been somewhat accentuated by the fitters until we are losing quite a valuable portion of lining.

We consider that a very mild chamfer is all that is necessary now and would recommend that all the drawings should be altered accordingly.

We believe that some of our brake squeaks may be due to high unit pressures.

Proposed.
Present.
