Re: Bentley Chassis & Coachwork.

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW.26.7.34, the contents of the first paragraph are in order.

With regard to 5-B-IV Chassis, I did not understand at the Conference last Tuesday that you wanted to send the new engine unit referred to on 10,000 mile test prior to the chassis you now refer to as B.6.

I quite understand, however, as explained on the telephone, that the improvement is such as to render it inadvisable to wait for the latter, and as I understand that the body on the chassis in question is finished, I have arranged with Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} for the body at present waiting for the 5-B-IV Chassis to be fitted to the chassis in which you are going to fit this new engine unit for 10,000 mile test.
