| -2- tion than to report to you prematurely. When the device left the Works, the Experimental Dept. had not had time to make a test owing to the rush in getting the chassis away. The Test Dept. have now made a preliminary test and the device gives satisfaction providing there is practically no overlap on the throttle. A slight difficulty has occured, namely, that when the throttle is opened suddenly, the engine hesitates very slightly. They are now investigating this trouble.
