Rear Gearbox Mounting - Phantom 3.

From report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.8/KW.17.12.35, it is seen that the original rear rubber mounting N.Sch.3892 has satisfactorily completed a test in France, and has been passed for gearbox noise on various experimental chassis.

We are, therefore, in agreement with the memo issued by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} that this scheme should be used in preference to N.Sch.4463.

N.Sch.4463 was never intended for production.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
