We are now making up an improved pattern of the KR5 with steel centre pin, which we hope to submit to you shortly together with another new design, and the writer would like to have the opportunity of coming over to your Works to test these plugs if it would be convenient in the course of a week or so. We regret troubling you to test so many plugs, but you will quite understand the importance of getting the design absolutely settled and finding out the very best pattern before we take the serious step of changing over from the production of the present KR3 plug.
