Dear Sirs,

AUTOMATIC CARBON PILE REGULATORS.

We thank you for your letter of the 27th inst., and note that you are interested in our Carbon Pile Regulators, particulars of which we have already sent to your aero section.

We have various sizes and types of Automatic Carbon Pile Regulators which are suitable for different duties and from the information which you give, it would appear that either our H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} type regulator or our M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} type regulator would be suitable for use in connection with the dynamos on your cars. It is, however, not possible to make any definite statement on this point without further particulars of the generators which it is proposed to use.

The H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} type regulator is the type of which we have already sent details to your aero section, and we would mention that it has also been developed for the Air Ministry for use in aircraft. It is now standard equipment on all tanks which are being supplied to the British War Office, and is being fitted to a number of Army vehicles of various types and sizes - particularly those which carry wireless equipment.
