CONTINUATION No. 2.

spring, although it might quite easily pass test before this happens.

RB.{R. Bowen}861/GM1. Date of manufacture 15.5.36.

There was a piece of road flint found under the valve mechanism. I am not in a position to express an opinion regarding this. I am enclosing the piece of flint herewith.

As regards the new type float chamber, this is not yet in production, but the dies are in hand and we have had samples. I think the best thing to do is to send you one of our ordinary stand float chambers when I can get one through. This would probably be a week or so.

I am also sending you one of the new thermostatically controlled float chambers complete with thermostatic switch. If you will let me know what water temperature you want the thermostat to cut out at, I will let you have a suitable one, as this can be adjusted to cut out at any necessary temperature. This arrangement at the moment is incorporated in the float chamber, and a separate pipe has to be taken to the induction. The best results will be obtained by taking the pipe to a tee pipe, this running more or less into the centres of the separate blocks of three cylinders. This gives very much better distribution.

As regards the scheme for separate slow running system, I will give this some thought and see if we can find a satisfactory solution.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
TCSkinner
