S/W. for....from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Cst. X7960 PN.{Mr Northey}3/WT2.7.30. RECEIVED GXO-15. You will remember this trials car was recently converted to the latest modifications in respect of 20/25 H.P. production. Obviously we have to be very careful at the moment in respect of what type of customer is allowed to be given a demonstration with this car, in view of the inevitable situation arising from a certain amount of old stock still being unsold in various localities, but when we do give trial runs on this car we want to give 100% impressions of the performance and general feel. We are greatly pleased with the larger thinner steering wheel which is standard, and we were disappointed to find that this wheel had not been fitted to GXO-15. Is there any special reason for this ? Otherwise I would be glad if you would at the earliest moment, send to N. one of the latest wheels so that the change may be made. PN.{Mr Northey} | ||
