Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. 23rd Dec. 1936. P.S. I have just had fitted to the rear of my Bentley car, a pair of dash controlled shock absorbers that are spring-loaded on the compression side and restricted orifice on the rebound. Although I have not had a chance of going any distance or at any great speed, owing to fog, I must say that these seem rather nice, in fact I would almost be prepared to say that they are better than anything else we have tried. Perhaps, however, it would be better not to become too enthusiastic until these have been really flogged. | ||
