Below is a note received from Mr.Hancock. Most of these points are receiving attention. Loss of oil from rear of engine. Engine fabric coupling. Clutch - lubrication of sleeve C.76572. Sliding inner surface of ball race - Hoffmann No.4224 50 X 90 X 11 mm. Alignment of clutch to ensure freedom. The whole of the exhaust system manifold burns out, exhaust pipe distorts, silencer too noisy. Rear axle. Insufficient brakes. Re-design oil escape pipes from centre housing and from toggle shaft housing. These are too near the brake drum shield and become choked with dirt. Rear springs rust at ends - end lubricator needed. Front springs rear anchorage pins not sufficient bearing surface. Filler pipe to engine. We cannot fill engine with oil without blowing Klaxon horn. Ball ends of control dampers, no lubrication. Failure of front shock dampers. Test finished before promised re-designed dampers were sent out. Starter motor. Control spring on throttle to give 30 m.p.h. full hand control opening. Lubrication of front brake shafts. Pendulum lever ball end, wear of ball. Soldered joints on lubrication pipes. Petrol pipes - lubrication pipes not sufficiently clipped.
