For the attention of Mr.N.R.Chandler.

Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 7th. instant and are pleased to advise that the thrust springs mentioned therein have been safely received and checked by us.

In this connection we would advise that we do not agree with the poundage readings as given by your good selves, and we are accordingly handing over the springs in question, together with the necessary readings, to our Mr. Armitage, who will, we understand, be visiting your Works within the next day or so, and who will be pleased to discuss this subject with you more fully.

Meantime, we are,

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
