We do not want you to interfere with the settings of these new dampers which I am sending, but rather keep them as a matter of comparison.

From your note of the 14th. it appears that your governor unit is incorrect, and I trust you will try to reproduce the figures approximately as originally taken on 18.G.lV. At 10 m.p.h. on min. damping not more than 1 pound and on max. 15 lbs. At 70 m.p.h. on min.10 lbs. I should be interested to hear any details of other cars, which suffer from this COMMON PRACTICE of incorrect settings.

Let me know if you require any further information or drawings.
