- 8 - Title. Req. L.O.P. Radiator. 5250 E.80672. Agreed "Staybrite" Finish will be made on 200 order. standard CY. STATES: (A) 'Staybrite'. Radiator Shutter. 5251 E.80673. 1. Agreed 'Staybrite' Finish will be made standard on 200 order. CY. STATES: 1. (A) 'Staybrite'. 2. (A) Auto Control. (Test sensitiveness of control and effect of ice, inattention, etc.) Should operate for water temp. of 72°F ± 5. 2. Agreed Cy. will have ample opportunity of making tests, and will collaborate with Experimental Department to arrive at suitable temperatures of operation to avoid loss of alcohol from cooling system in winter. Bonnet. 5260 E.80674. CY. STATES: 1. (A-F). High Shoulder and Wide Dash. 1. Agreed the 'High Shoulder and Wide Dash' will be on second experimental chassis. 2. (A). 'Staybrite' Hinges. 2. Agreed already fitted on first experimental chassis. 3. (N). Enclosed front end of top Hinge. 3. Agreed matter should be a subject for future development, and discussion as to whether Cy's suggestion is brought in, particularly on the first 200 chassis. We at Derby have found no reason to depart from our present practice. Experimental Dept. and Ry. will consider this suggestion with a view to 'trying out' the scheme. 4. (N) Bonnet Covering Dash. 4. Cy. submitted prints showing how this is arranged on Springfield chassis. Ry. has this in hand for second experimental chassis. Agreement for 200 order cannot be given until tests are completed, but in principle it was agreed that improvement is desirable. Convd.... | ||
