We have received your memos Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/18 & 10/ OIL LEAKS FROM REAR MAIN BEARING We are having a slight leak from this bearing into the clutch pit. The amount is not considerable and we have been working on it to affect a cure. The breather to the engine affects it considerably. We thank you for your remarks re. the pressures. BRAKES We are of the same opinion re front brakes. When these are effecient, we should not with comfort be able to increase the braking very much, the front dips considerably as it is. G.W.Hancock.
