-2- combustion chamber you want, the valve and valve porting, and you can deal with the expansion of your block at one piece instead of twelve. Dealing with higher output engines forces us to be progressive occasionally, we may be selling duralumin connecting rods running directly on hardened shafts before very long. Silent valve gear with a higher output engine has given us some sleepless nights, but we now have what we believe is the "hottest" camshaft on any car being sold to the public, and we get reasonable operation without a lot of noise, and with five metal timing gears, though we are "flirting" with Textolite. Independent front wheel suspension is going ahead over here, and we are of course playing with it amongst other things; if anyone in America of consequence markets a rear engine motor car, we shall all jump after them post haste. We have done a lot of wind tunnel tests on the Bentley, the results of which will amuse you. Kind regards to Mrs. Olley, Yours sincerely, | ||
