| X346 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.17/KW. 20th April, 1936. Messrs. Silentbloc Ltd., Victoria Gardens, Ladbroke Rd., Notting Hill Gate, LONDON. W.11. For the attention of Mr. Harris. Dear Sirs, We are rather concerned about your letter WLH/GO.8.4.36, dealing with our part G.84361. We made our drawings to the exact detail drawings supplied by you, and in consequence do not feel inclined to alter our parts, particularly now that they are in an advanced stage of manufacture. We should like to know exactly how much increase in section of the metal parts is necessary. It may be best to reduce the quantity of rubber. The cost of 9/10d. per unit seems very frightening for production quantities. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
