Royce - Buyer} Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 7th instant, regarding your Order No.31766. We are afraid that it will not be possible for us to get the shock absorbers off to you before Friday next. In this connection, we should like to point out that when these shock absorbers have been fitted by you, and the chassis delivered to the coachbuilders, after the body has been fitted, we have had to completely refit all the cables. We think it would be better if, in future, you fitted the shock absorbers only, and allowed us to fit the cables, and all the control units, as this would be very much easier than trying to rectify the mistakes made in fitting these parts. Perhaps you will be good enough to write us about this matter. We regret the delay in sending these shock absorbers, but would like to point out that they are no longer in current production, this model having been superseded by the Hydro Telecontrol type, particulars of which we enclose. We should very much like you to try a set of these, as owners of two or three of your cars which we have fitted up have been very satisfied with the functioning of this apparatus.
