ROY. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} X837 BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Cgh. {W Clough} 4/G.11.6.32. HARTFORD SHOCK ABSORBERS. ----------------------- With reference to letter dated 8th inst. received from Messrs. T.B. Andre & Co. Ltd., in connection with the Hartford Shock absorbers ordered for chassis 9-JS. {Mr Johnson's Secretary} , we certainly agree that it would be better for these people to fit the control units and cables, and we are arranging for Cricklewood to be advised accordingly. In regard to the last paragraph, we should point out that we have tested a set of their Hydro Telecontrol type of shock absorbers, but do not wish to make any change from the type we are using at the present time.
