COPY. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Hy {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} /JW. Hy {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} /JW/N3/139/B 8.1.23. Re. Standardisation Sheet X.4419. ROAD SPRINGS MADE BY FIRTHS IN PLACE OF WOODHEADS. We return herewith copy of above standardisation sheet, but regret to say that we are not in a position to supply the required cost figures, owing to the fact that Firths have not yet given us any figures for the Springs they will supply. Roy {Sir Henry Royce} , however, is of the opinion that there will not be any saving in cost to us owing to this change. Hy {Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} /JW. | ||
