We have heard of no definite complaints although, like all other mechanical contrivances, there has been certain faults develop at times which have had to be overcome.

We should like to point out that this change to demountable rims and straight-sided tyres is not an R-R alteration in design but an alteration universally decided upon by the Tyre Makers throughout the world. Our tests have shown that it is an improvement over the present tyres. We have had insistent demands from the Sales Department for an easily demountable rim. Our contention is that the only possible way of getting a satisfactory demountable rim necessitates the use of straight-sided tyres.
